faulty car for almost 18 months

i bought a toyota avensis from charles hurst toyota dundonald a couple of days later 4 warning lights came on the dashboard their solution to the problem was to turn out the lights several lays later warning lights back on again this was an ongoing problem they refused to address the issue until the warranty was up and they wanted 1900 to fix my car fh17fpj almost 18 months later the 4 warning lights are coming on the dashboard on a regular basis i have done some research and i have found out that after a long period with a fault in your car your entitled to a refund or a replacement vehicle i contacted toyota finance they said they would investigate but when i first had these issues they went against me im a taxi driver and im out of work i asked could i give the car back i have paid at least 75 percent of what i owe i know what the outcome will be they will side with the dealership i would not recommend anyone to buy a car from them
