Saab farce

I bought a car from KP Cars and after 40 miles, the engine management light came on. I have since spend close to half the value of the car on repairs and he's offered a pathetic amount towards the costs! He kept saying that he needed to consult his business partner but when I looked on companies house website, he is the only person mentioned... when I took my car to my local garage, they seemed to think that due to how badly the dpf and egr valve were clogged up, there was no way that the management light wouldn't have come on sooner and intimated that it had been switched off by the seller in order to get the sale. Of course there's no way of proving it but given all his lying thus far, I wouldn't put it past his. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. You have been warned...
