Lying and deceiving to make a sale

Truly awful dealership, don’t waste your time, money or effort buying from here. From our own experience and similar reviews on here, dealership seems to be only interested in your money & their targets, and won’t hesitate to bend the truth when it suits them. We were sold a car and warranty under full service history. Service was confirmed at specific date and mileage via email. Yet, when less than a year later when the car broke down (with almost £5K worth of repairs) and the car was on the car repair shop’s rack taken to pieces, that we were told that the car was, in fact, NOT serviced. And the warranty, as a result, meant nothing. This left us with no car for 2 weeks (until a hire one eventually arrived after complaining). This has brought nothing but stress and inconvenience. How can a dealership get it so wrong? Not to mention the time spent on calls and writing multiple emails per day to try to sort it between the dealership, warranty company and the repair shop. A month later and we’ve still not reached a satisfactory outcome. After all this time and anxiety over a car we would’ve never purchased in the first place, had we have known it had no service before buying. Alex Holmes (Dealer Principle) claims they’ve done us a favour, but in reality has done the bare minimum and won’t even compensate us for the despicable service, deceptive sale, inconvenience and stress caused. What way to treat your customers, we will be taking this complaint further.
