Saw Renault Espace advertised on autotrader, phoned dealer to discuss condition, based on what he said made 240 mile round trip journey to test car. Didn't bother to test drive as car was not as advertised on autotrader, or as described by the dealer over the phone (eg tyres described as good when in fact 3 of the 4 different makes fitted were near bald). Car had look and feel of 200k miles and i find it impossible to believe the 49k showing on the clock. Roof didn't work, aircon didn't work, etc etc. In short an absolute nail. worth perhaps 20% of the asking price. Based on this experience I conclude that the dealer is either a) incompetent or b) a rogue. Not sure which.
