Don't buy a car from Vauxhall Slough

I bought a three year Vauxhall Astra from Vauxhall Slough and I have to say that it has been one of the worst experiences. The car I bought was not fit for purpose and developed an engine and gearbox problem within 40 days of ownership. Vauxhall Slough "fixed" the issues and then within 70 miles, the gearbox fix had broken again. I am now trying to get my money back via consumer rights however I'm not getting anywhere. They have had my complaint and the car has been returned to them over two weeks ago and they are no where in deciding what to do. It would seem that as they have my money, they do not want to talk to me. The manager dealing with my case is never available and despite assurances, will never call you back or do what they say they will do. I am having to seek legal advice around next steps to see if I can push them to resolving the case.
