I purchased a 2011 Audi A6 Avant 3 litre Tdi from Alex. He agreed to have the car driven down to me in Devon at a non refundable cost of £175. When the car arrived, I did a quick inspection and found the car to be in good condition. I MUST stress that it was a quick inspection. The following day, I decided to give the car a good clean, I found the CD multi changer was full of discs and there were dog hairs and dried up drool everywhere in the luggage area, the car had only been given a quick vacuum out, not a thorough going over, as is usual practice with a professional car sales company. A few weeks later, I had to remove the front bumper to replace a blown headlamp bulb, this being the only way to access the rear of the headlamps, where I discovered the aluminium bumper beam, which gives the bumper strength and bridges the two chassis legs, had been impacted so badly, it had pushed back into the air con radiator. After returning the CD's and sending a letter explaining the situation with the front bumper and the dog drool/hair, I have not received any reply from Alex whatsoever, not even a Thank You for the return of the CD's. This is a disgraceful way to treat your clients. I would never recommend him to anyone.
