Bad customer service

Booked my car in for a service with cmc harlow on booking I was asked if I would like to wait for the car as it was its first service and shouldn’t take long I agreed and took the car in at 8.45 and was the told the car would be ready at 12.30 so I had to wait 3 1/2 hours for my car if I was told this on booking I would have requested a courtesy vehicle or made other arrangements and booked the car in on a day that I was not so busy also when I explained this to the garage they were not very accommodating very poor customer service
