I test driven a a fiesta ecoboost delivering 99 BHP with a turbo and was pleasantly surprised at its overall performance so said to the ford guy in the passenger seat yes, I'll have one of these. So we went back to the showroom where we completed all the relevant paperwork and I was looking forward to picking up my new car. On the day I got to the showroom straight away I noticed it was an econetic not an ecoboost, at the time I thought just a minor detail however after having driven the car for a week I thought it was lacking power up hill and overtaking etc so I did some online research and found that there is 3 variants 1 being 79 bhp with no turbo, one 99 BHP with turbo and 125 bhp also turbo so I test driven the 99 BHP but the one they tried to give me thinking I wouldn't notice was a 79 bhp and the reason I know it had no turbo is because I took it to my own independent mechanic. So in conclusion I was given a different model to the one I'd earlier test driven and decided on luckily I stopped the purchase 2 days before my cooling off period was due to expire and I would have been stuck with the car I didn't want. My last word is be careful!!!
