I want to recount a deeply troubling experience I had during a car purchase in Luton, particularly involving salesman Zeshan Hanif. Despite his assurances of a warranty, I encountered a significant engine issue less than three months after purchasing the vehicle. However, Zeshan was nowhere to be found when I tried to contact him. He consistently ignored my calls and claimed he was unavailable, blatantly evading responsibility for addressing the problem. As the situation escalated, it became increasingly evident that this wasn't just a case of poor customer service, but potentially criminal behavior on Zeshan's part. His refusal to acknowledge the issue and his persistent avoidance of responsibility raised serious concerns about his integrity. Adding to the distress was Luton Toyota's assurance that they had thoroughly inspected the car before handing it over. However, it became clear that multiple issues had been overlooked or ignored. On the day of picking up the car, several issues arose, yet the salesperson did not address any of them and instead pressured us to pay the balance immediately, prioritizing payment over addressing the issues at hand. When I sought help from Luton Toyota, hoping they would honor the promised warranty, they shockingly refused, claiming there was no service agreement in place. This blatant disregard for their obligations left me feeling betrayed and vulnerable. This entire ordeal has left me deeply dissatisfied and shaken. I sincerely hope that authorities will conduct a thorough investigation into this matter and that justice will be served. I implore Luton Toyota to respond promptly; otherwise, I will be left with no choice but to take further action.
