Absolute shambles, unprofessional
Collected car and within 2 hours it broke down, with 2 different types of warning lights flashing up – when I called the dealership they told me to call roadside assistance who identified a serious malfunction. I do not believe the appropriate checks were made to ensure the vehicle was road worthy/of satisfactory quality etc – asked for the diagnostic report for the tests undertaken by them before I picked the vehicle up, nothing was ever shared with me. Also false advertisement – stated 1 previous owner, when in fact it was 2. They also lied to me when I queried this. Advert also stated fuel type Petrol no mention of Mild hybrid anywhere. Having all this information would have seriously impacted my purchase decision. When I returned the car they then went on to falsely advertise on Lookers website again. Customer service throughout has been appalling – had to constantly chase for information and updates and never received a reply or acknowledgment from the Sales exec. Was told the car would be collected, repaired and returned to me on the Monday (having first collected the car on the Saturday) - this did not happen, instead the General manager dodged my calls and got his junior to call me back who wasn’t able to give me any updates. This has wasted so much of my time, having had to return the car and end my agreement. To say I’m disappointed and frustrated and massively inconvenienced by the whole situation is an understatement. This sort of behaviour and false advertising is disgraceful. Buying from a Mercedes Benz dealership I expected a high level of quality, professionalism and good customer service, I received none of these things. Would never buy a Mercedes again, zero trust in the product, brand – especially the staff! Absolutely disgraceful!
