Bought a golf from MMC in January 16. Notice a lot of black smoke from the rear view mirror. Booked the car into the garage for check over noticed it has never been serviced, cambelt needed changed, brakes where low, tyres needed changed, oil was was thick sludge. After a service it was still blowing out black smoke so took it to a specialist garage and carried out a diagnostic test which carried out more problems including an inlet manifold replacement which the the garage stated is the worst they have ever seen. I would not recommend anyone to buy from this garage if they are looking for a second hand car, the cars may look good on the outside but once taken to a proper mechanic you will then notice serious problems.
