Do not take your car here!!

Absolute joke of a place!! I had my car booked in for an MOT today, dropped it off at 9AM. I had heard nothing all day until i phoned myself at 4:30pm! After phoning I was then told it had failed and they had already started the work and my car won’t be ready until 11AM tomorrow!! They told me my bill would be £400 for a change of front brake pads and a wiper!! They did not phone me to inform me of any work that needed to be done and then when I told them i do not want them to do any work on the car they then said they would phone me back to let me know what had been done already. They did not phone back so when my Mom phoned back they then lied and said I gave permission to them to carry on doing it even though I was with several people who heard the conversation. I then told them I do not want the work done and I’m coming to pick my car up. I got there and they are changing the pads on the car!! It then took them only 15 minutes to remove the pads and replace the wheels!! HOW DOES THIS CONSTITUTE TO 3 HOUR WORTH OF LABOUR COSTS OF £220!!! They then lied and said that they had tried to call me so I showed them I had not received any calls and they said “oh”. I have never received such awful service for my car!! They are here to rip people off and I could not warn anyone off this car garage enough!! They were sarcastic and extremely unprofessional. I will not be returning here again. I will be reporting them to the Motoring Ombudsman and I will be getting a second opinion for my MOT.
