Not good

Terrible experience from start to finish, purchased a silver BMW 335D touring in October 2023, which was found to have a faulty transfer case, that was leaking oil 7 days later after I noticed oil marks on my driveway. I took it to a reputable local garage to get it inspected after reporting the issue to the salesperson, which is how the issue was confirmed with photographs and a report. MCR wouldn't agree on a temporary vehicle whilst this BMW of only 7 days being mine, would be repaired, so we came to a mutual agreement of having it repaired locally. MCR and the garage used for inspection liaised and the repair was performed. 3 weeks later the same issue was present, so once again I reported it to the salesperson who told me that it's not the transfer case that's faulty it's the garage's work that's at fault. The garage agreed to attempt another repair at sealing the transfer case once again to ensure it wasn't anything their side, only for it to be the same again afterwards. I rejected the vehicle, which the director came to collect for a final inspection, with the intentions of driving the BMW 266 miles back down to Swindon, with the known faults. When I questioned why a recovery option wasn't being used, he said "If it blows up on me, it's my problem anyway" that's definitely what I expected after spending £25,445 on a vehicle... Not. The BMW was at a BMW specialist garage for a couple of weeks, which was being driven now and again, so obviously it was being worked on. In the end the transfer case wasn't able to be repaired and was replaced with a part from eBay, which was from a salvaged Category B vehicle, which was confirmed after I contacted the company. MCR refused to take ownership of the fault and tried to hand it back to me as the repair now complete and satisfactory. In the end we came to an agreement to unwind the deal, I received my part exchange vehicle back and the money I put towards minus some fair use of the BMW. MCR tried to add on a service they had apparently done to the price, which upon collection was not documented and when asked about I was told, they would have to print an invoice and send it to me. In other words it wasn't done and they were just trying to squeeze some more money from me. I collected my part exchange vehicle on the 28th Feb and still haven't received the paperwork. When I initially enquired about the BMW, I was told it had 4 previous owners, but when the logbook finally came to me 2 months later, after I had to contact them 3 times to get it sent over. I was the 7th owner. I should have checked this more thoroughly but I put trust in them as a professional dealership. This is an honest review and I wouldn't recommend these at all.
