Avoid Cars Hunt Ltd
Sharing my experience to warn others. Found a 2009 car on autotrader, and Cars Hunt Ltd advised me to save my money on an AA inspection because the car was older but said they would find nothing wrong with this car, I was aware of wear and tear but did not expect what happened next. I did AA inspection anyway and the car failed: 'NOT FIT FOR PURCHASE' (copying reasons at end of review), and these guys say they go by AA standards. When I told them, they asked for the report and said nothing. Learn from this guys. Now you have another bad review. It's really unethical to try and con people out of money when you know the car shouldn't even be sold. You can try to defend this by saying there was no mechanical problem found but everyone knows water and rust/ corrosion inside a car only goes one way and you would've also taken my money and the car is 'NOT FIT FOR PURCHASE' by AA standards which says it all. Red: Tailgate release button intermittently inoperative Rear exhaust heat shield very insecure Exhaust shows deep seated and partially penetrating corrosion Water gathering beneath spare wheel Abrasions to wheel trims (fitted on top of alloy wheels) Both rear tyres approaching wear limit Damage peel appearance to L/H/R door paintwork Bonnet slam panel top moulding insecure Headlamp lenses partially tarnished Abrasions to many panels Corrosion to rear wheel arches Battery compartment corroded Sun visor lights inoperative Small number of rear heated window elements not working Condensation to both rear light lenses General corrosion to front and rear suspension Underbody boot floor and chassis corroded Always get an inspection, always walk away from a rusty car and don't trust Cars Hunt Ltd. I will share my review in other places too.
