I assumed they were trustworthy, how wrong was I, first of all the car I bought had no log book so I immediately asked to cancel the transaction and refund, to which I was told not possible as they don't have the card required to do it, then spent half and hour persuading me this is normal practice even though I showed them DVLA website advice not to buy a vehicle without a log book. Then the problems started, engine light was on they said it's nothing to worry about drove it at high speeds for a short while it went away, and was reassured I have a 6 months warranty so not to worry. Yeah right, their warranty doesn't cover anything that goes wrong, so it's basically useless. Long story short they car was put through an MOT with numerous faults which would have caused it to fail elsewhere, and there were problems with the engine which were masked by running the engine when I asked to view the car initially. Cost nearly a £1000 to repair they did however sort some of the problems out which I have to say is quite surprising considering all the people who have had no help whatsoever, I did try to claim the money back via bank but they told them a false story and the claim was unsuccessful. Now currently pursuing a claim through small claims court and reported to trading standards.
