Would never buy a car from this garage!!

I am writing to express my disappointment and concern regarding my recent experience at your dealership, specifically in relation to the purchase of an Audi A5. On 3rd February 2024, my husband and I traveled all the way from Lancashire after viewing a car sold by Renault Cardiff via Auto Trader. The car in question was an Audi A5, white in color, with the number plate G367 YBU. Prior to our journey, we meticulously reviewed the advertisement which indicated that the car had one previous owner, and all our requirements for purchasing the vehicle seemed to align perfectly with this listing. However, upon our arrival at your dealership, we were informed by your representative, Ryan, that we had confused the vehicle with another listing online, and that the Audi A5 actually had three previous owners. This was quite alarming to us, as we had made the decision to embark on a five-hour journey based on the information provided in the advertisement. Despite our initial reservations, we were willing to proceed with the purchase under the condition that the service history was in order and that any scratches on the vehicle were addressed. Ryan assured us that these issues would be resolved and that the service history would be provided to us by the following Monday. However, despite repeated assurances, the service history was not forthcoming, and Ryan's behavior regarding this matter seemed evasive and concerning. Upon further investigation, we discovered that the number of previous owners listed in the advertisement had been changed multiple times, casting doubt on the integrity of the information provided by your dealership. It became apparent to us that there were inconsistencies and discrepancies in the representation of the vehicle's history, leading us to question the transparency and honesty of Renault Cardiff in their sales practices. Ultimately, we were relieved to have avoided purchasing the vehicle, as it became clear that there were significant discrepancies and potential misrepresentations regarding its history. However, I feel compelled to share our experience as a cautionary tale for others who may be considering purchasing a car from Renault Cardiff. It is essential for prospective buyers to conduct thorough research, request to see the service history, and verify the number of previous owners before making any commitments. In conclusion, I must express my deep disappointment and disillusionment with Renault Cardiff's handling of this matter. As a customer, I expected transparency, honesty, and professionalism, qualities which I believe were sorely lacking in this instance.
