I arranged to view the car, I turned up to find it was being used as a daily runner and was a mess. I should have left it but the price and value they gave for my PX kept me interested. I picked up certain issues which they said they'd resolve, gave me a date to pick up and when I arrived, nothing had been done. 1 week later, car was ready but despite being advertised with SATNAV, the SATNAV didn't work, the garage promised to rectify this, this was in November 2023, still not resolved 1st Feb 24. The day I collected the car, I handed over my old car, they didn't move it from where it was parked outside and received a parking ticket. Did they bother telling me or help me resolve it, no. Even when I asked about it, I was ignored. Most recently, my starter motor went. The advertised 3 month warranty which there's no evidence for and is purely down to Elvi to decide what they will and will not fix, means nothing so don't depend on it. I reported my issue with my starter motor 12 days ago (now 1st Feb) and majority of the time I've been ignored. The only answer I got was that they needed to get the invoice from their accountant to prove when I purchased the vehicle, even after I provided proof. I've now paid for this myself to be fixed and still no response from Elvi so il be taking this matter to court under consumer rights act 2015. If they had a defined warranty that said what they would and would not repair, I'd accept that, but as it's a gents agreement when they can be bothered to respond just shows how poorly ran this car garage is. Shocking experience and I'd recommend to stay clear of this place.
