purchased a b class 2013 in January 2016, from Mercedes ridgeway Southampton, kept getting message TOP UP COOLANT took to my local dealer in portsmouth who checked the car over and found rear tyres and brakes disks and pads need replacing, bonnet catch broke wipers not clearing screen as should! car at time of taking in to Portsmouth was owned by me for 6 months, only mileage is local so very low yet the Southampton manager says when they did their checks on the car I bought in January, their checks were November, the brakes were 50% worn and the tyres had 4m on them so I bought a car from a reputable dealer who by the way left my car at Portsmouth for 6 days before deciding they were doing nothing about it, why would a coolant bottle crack? head gasket? overheating somewhere, Southampton Mercedes have not heard the last of this matter, and they have never rang me to discuss anything their customer service is NIL
