Awful Attitude & Customer Service

After seeing a lovely specification Porsche Cayman on Autotrader advertised by JR Motor Company I had to view the vehicle. When I attended JR Motor Company I was greeted with a very nice looking dealership in a good location. The car itself was a rare specification and a low mileage example, however did have a few areas which needed attention such as the rear tyres were needing to be replaced due to perishing and being near the legal limit of 1.6mm and the one rear light was full of water due to a broken light seal. Due to the vehicle being advertised at a strong price, I decided to ask Ian if we could have these bits sorted if the full asking price was met. I was then told that I should not expect a show room condition car when the vehicle is 14 years old and Ian was very rude. Although I expect general wear and tear, I do not expect a rear light full of water and rear tyres that are barely legal and very old. After looking at other reviews and the forums is does seem that Ian has a very defensive attitude and does struggle with his customer service which is a shame as the cars he does have are high specification rare examples. But this was his attitude when he wanted my £18,000, what would he of been like in a warranty situation? In the end I drove to another Porsche specialist on a whim and bought a Porsche Boxster in the end.
