Horrendous sales team service
I walked into the dealership and asked for a Golf - dream customer, no selling required. The salesman told me I'd have my car within two weeks. Then he went completely silent. I had to do follow up calls myself (really?) and was told my car was in an English port awaiting some kind of DVLA clearance. When it was late, I asked to speak to the manager who made some vague platitudes. Once I insisted on details, it turned out the car was in fact still in a German port with no dates for delivery. I cancelled my order and then had to wait over a week for a refund of the deposit, with 'radio silence' from the sales man and no response from the manager. Appalling. Finally, during Christmas week, I got hold of a manager who was filling in and he sorted out the refund very quickly and was polite and helpful. But the rest of the experience was terrible, particularly the fact that the salesman lied to me.
