AVOID, AVOID, AVOID

PLEASE AVOID THIS GARAGE. Bought a 9 year old car from this garage which was advertised and sold with an MOT and service. We took the car for a health check at a Ford dealer a few days after having the car as a friend that was a mechanic had noticed that the brakes didn't look legal and evidence of an oil leak. The Ford dealership flagged up many problems with the car (at an estimated cost of £2000) including brake pads and discs that were below the legal limit (which shouldn't of passed an MOT as confirmed by a Ford dealer) and an oil leak that was just covered up. On driving away from JMMC Motors, we noticed the back brake light wasn't working. We drove back and Jon found a second hand bulb out of a box. We contacted Jon with the health check report and his attitude was horrendous, intimidating and with a threatening tone. We insisted on a refund and returned the car. He didn't seem at all bothered that he had sold an unsafe car and he withheld £200 until the log book was transferred despite it being illegal to withhold monies from us (as confirmed by trading standards).
