Disappointing Experience

I recently purchased a vehicle from Jeff White Motors in Cardiff approximately a month ago, and unfortunately, my experience has been less than satisfactory. While I initially had hopes for a smooth transaction and a reliable vehicle, a subsequent discovery has left me quite disheartened. Upon closer inspection, I realized that the mileage on the car did not align with the information provided on the MOT certificate. To my surprise and concern, the actual mileage was approximately 9000 miles less than what was indicated on the document from the last MOT. Naturally, I promptly contacted the dealership seeking assistance and resolution. Regrettably, the response from Jeff White Motors was less than helpful, and their refusal to acknowledge the issue compounded my frustration. Their stance, asserting that the matter was no longer their responsibility, left me with the burden of rectifying the situation independently. This unprofessional manner of handling customer concerns has, unfortunately, caused me significant inconvenience and unnecessary stress. In my efforts to address this discrepancy, I reached out to the finance company involved in the transaction, only to discover that they were unable to provide any assistance. Additionally, the MOT garage, which allegedly contributed to the error in recording the mileage, proved uncooperative. Multiple calls to the DVSA and consultations with various advisors have extended this ordeal, and after a month, I am still awaiting a resolution from the DVSA to rectify the initial mistake. My intent in sharing this experience is not to deter potential customers but to caution them to exercise extra diligence when considering Jeff White Motors as their car dealership. The aftermath of the sale has left me feeling neglected and inconvenienced, resembling an unfortunate similarity to dealings with private sellers. I strongly advise prospective buyers to approach transactions with this dealership cautiously or explore alternative options to avoid similar challenges. In conclusion, my experience with Jeff White Motors has been disappointing, and I hope that my review serves as a constructive reflection on the need for improved customer service and accountability within the dealership.
