Avoid for distance sales
The "perfect condition, like new" approved used vehicle I ordered was delivered to me with faults. I called them in July, explained the problem to try and sort a resolution, and was promised a call back, which never happened. I sent the manager a letter detailing everything (recorded delivery) which arrived there 1st August. No reply. I followed up with a call 17th August, and was once again promised a call back, which never happened. I called again 20th September and was told this time to email complaints@parkwayvolkswagen.co.uk with details of everything. I put everything in an email and no reply. I followed up this email two weeks later - yep, you guessed it - no reply. The main Volkswagen complaints team need for me to get a response from Parkway before they can proceed with a formal complaint, which I can only imagine is why Parkway are deciding to ignore me. I now have involved the Vehicle Ombudsman, who have accepted the case.
