TonyR Audi A5 Quattro Review

Negotiated a fair price that included a full tank of fuel - when I bought it, it was only part full and then they refused to honour the agreement. Found a problem on the paintwork; they promised to make good but it never happened. Partially down to joint timing issues, but they didn't make it eay. After 6 weeks the Audi developed a DPF issue. I tried to get it fixed under the RAC warranty they provided with the car. The DPF was cleaned and the problem went away for a month ot so then returned. When I went back to the RAC they refused, saying it was a consumable. I then approached Speedwell as the failure appeared so shortly after my purchase and it is covered under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 under 'satisfactory quality'. They have refused to cover this fault or even compromise. I am now in the process of getting it fixed independently and will then be pursuing the matter through court. Whilst I am certain to win my case and collect my monies paid out for the repair (and any solicitors costs) the warning remains to anyone who buys from Speedwell - if anything goes wrong, DO NOT expect a great customer service experience.
