Awful - check out review on Google too!

Awful, awful aftercare service. This goes back over several years and different cars. 0 stars or less would be better. Initially, bought an A5 from them, good experience and nice guy who I dealt with. Fault with the A5 stop start. They couldn’t sort it, I googled it and found the issue. It was then resolved - down to water ingress in the boot. Communication around service bookings and just in general, really poor. Impression is they just don’t care and can’t be bothered. Went to get a valuation for the A5 coming to the end of its PCP, guy didn’t know what he was doing. Undervalued substantially. Maybe just trying it, who knows. After these experiences, went substantially out of our way to Macclesfield Audi who were always great and really looked after us. With Manchester Audi being so local we had to use them on occasion very reluctantly for an A3 we also had. Always wish we hadn’t! Went in for service work and they reported nearly £1k of work needed going. Took it to an independent garage and didn’t need hardly any of the work. Fraudulent behaviour from Manchester Audi! Most recently, again very reluctantly, needed local support again due to time constraints for a recently purchased e-tron. Booking line (they are separate to Manchester Audi) very helpful. Unfortunately, the car was then stolen and I called Manchester Audi (given it was booked with them) for assistance/info with any ways to track via the Audi app. Spoke to the aftercare/service team at the dealership, obviously expressing the urgency of the matter with it being a recent theft. Kieran apparently is the guy to help. Was told he would call back twice after phoning a couple of times. Nothing at all. Even at a time of urgency. Called Macclesfield Audi and they politely, quickly helped with information immediately. Manchester Audi just does not care about customers and should be stripped of its franchise. When calling you get apathy and a lack of willingness and interest to help, they sound jaded, lacking enthusiasm and just have no sense of how to look after people. It seems there is something inherently wrong with their training, culture and values. It’s systemic. Only the guy who serves the tea and welcomes people (who is well known) can be singled out for praise. And only when they take money off you or want to get money off you, are they more interested and more willing. Quite simply go elsewhere! We will not set foot in there again. I’m sure there will be a response to this, saying contact us and we’ll investigate/try and put it right etc. Instead, perhaps take the initiative if you wish to (the most recently booked in car was GF22) and contact me. But really, probably not much point, no doubt be lip service. Suggest all the management take a good look at the business and service you provide, and do something about it urgently! It’s obviously taken me some time to write this review, not something I do often. It’s due to the incredibly poor and disappointing service and attitude. Avoid, avoid, avoid. Go elsewhere - highly recommend Macclesfield Audi.
