MOT avoid

Do not do MOT there!! Scumbags! They will rip you off on unnecessary repairs. I had MOT at September with them, car failed MOT due to a 2nd speed emission too high (just few hundreds) and rear bush play. There wasn't any light on a dashboard, so it was weird that it passes on Idle speed and failed on 2nd speed. Asked them about a leakage from an exhaust, they said that there weren't any Leakes from exhaust system, and it was checked. They proposed repair for £260 to change bushes and 2nd lambda sensor but I didn't go to repair issues with them. Bushes have been replaced, engine was run well on fuel with added ATP cleaner and warmed up well before re-test as advised by other mechanic. The car failed again, only on 2nd speed emission too high (just few hundreds). I took a car to another MOT station and guy immediately found a leakage in a silencer; entire floor was black from fumes. They said there was not leakage on a first MOT and had a car lift during a re-test. AVOID, they are proper con and lay through a teeth!
