AVOID A
AVOID AT ALL COSTS
I bought a car from i-Drive last November. I had a fault appear just 2 miles after driving away from them. Taking the car back to get it sorted, the salesman (Zak) assured me he would fix it, after five attempts he failed to. In the end I took the car to a main dealer where the faults that appeared on the dyno amounted to £1,000!!!!! Zak and i-Drive refused flat out to pay for the fixing of the car as they claimed it was 'wear and tear'. I told them as they refused to fix the car, then they should give me my part ex'd car back. My old car had recently been serviced and was in great condition for it's age. As I had zero trust in this person (i refuse to call him a man) I asked that my old car be driven to me and that my money be paid in cash, I did this as I wanted to ensure the money was paid back to me. The garage agreed to it all. The day after I was told no refund would be made in cash as they didn't do this (yet had originally agreed to) and that my old car wasn't going to be delivered to me as they had found a number of 'issues' with it and felt it wasn't road worthy....yet they were still willing to put it for sale at £800 In the end I got my new car fixed my a number of independent garages for a cost of around £700. I went back to i-Drive and asked if they would consider covering this cost. Once again they refused. Disgusted, I told i-Drive that they were being unfair and unprofessional. The (highly illiterate) texts messages I received from i-Drive also proved this. I'm in the process of taking these people to a small claims court and hope the matter will be resolved soon. Please, please, please only read the bad reviews as I 100% believe that the good reviews are written by either themselves or by their friends. It's always interesting to see a five star review be placed straight after a 1 star complaint. Avoid this company like the plague. They are untrustworthy, disrespectful and unprofessional.
