Terrible Customer Service
I bought a Fiat 500E from the Barnsley Cars2 Dealership. Lovely sales staff and why wouldn't they be, it's their livelihood after all. Aftersales and servicing are appalling. I took out a service plan on my car and last year's service experience was fine. This year I received a call saying that the Fiat franchise wasn't there anymore and that my service would be done by the Renault dealership instead. I asked several questions, including if the service being done by Renault would have a detrimental effect on the re-sale of my car. I was told that the only thing was that the book would have a Renault stamp instead of Fiat. So I went ahead and booked the service. Two weeks later my car dash started displaying SERVICE NEEDED in bright yellow letters as well as having a permanent yellow spanner displayed. I rang the service department to be told that they couldn't do anything about it as they were no longer affiliated with Fiat and that I would have been told that at the time. The very rude receptionist told me that the box had been ticked to say I had been told to which I replied that anyone can tick a box it doesn't mean it happened. I cancelled my service plan and have complained to Cars 2. I'm not expecting a response but I will give them a poor review on any platform I can find. Terrible company with no thoughts for the customers who have literally paid thousands of pounds to them and have to put up with rude, aggressive aftersales staff.
