Car not bought from here but used as RAC approved repairer. Brooklands first received a car on the 14th August I had bought elsewhere as they are part of the RAC warranty scheme but as of 23rd September it has still not been fixed. After replacing a couple of parts which unfortunately did not do the trick, it was left with them on September 11th to be looked at by an electrician. Aside from the frustration at the seemingly never ending saga, I am wholly unimpressed with their lack of communication. I did not expect to be contacted on a daily basis but did expect to be given relevant information so as to manage expectations. I had to ring them on the 15th to learn that it had gone to the electrician on the 13th. Again nothing was heard until I rang on the 19th and was told that a part was about to arrive and that the car should be ready within 48 hours. That time came and went and when I rang today , the 23rd ,at 12:15 , I was told that he was just about to ring the electrician and would get back almost immediately. Needless to say that did not happen That was nearly 2 hours ago. I am at a loss to understand why this is in anyway an acceptable level of customer service.
