Before I bought the car I had no issues & the owner Antony was friendly. It was only when they had my money that's when the issues started. Should have checked the lower rated reviews first. Car had problems within the first hour of driving away. They fixed a simple brake issue but they couldn't fix another issue the car had with a noise from the engine bay. I was advised it was just a noisy engine & normal for an older car and was told "I will lose money on the car after the money we have spent already trying to fix the issue for you and we cant just keep replacing parts at the problem". Stupidity I believed the owner but later found this to be engine related & quite a big repair bill needed for the crankshaft. Another problem I noticed when driving home after purchase was the gearbox notchy and crunching into 1st then 2nd. Again was told this was fine & said just needed grease on the selector fork and I believed them. Later uncovered it was actually the gear synchos & needed a gearbox repair. They tell you it comes with 1 month warranty but its worthless. If its an easy fix then they will repair it but if its expensive or too much trouble for them then you're on your own and you find out what they are really like. I was advised by them they would not be honouring any more repair work even though I was still under their one month warranty as the car was costing too much to put right. The MOT I was provided from September 2022 with a clean bill of health with no advisiory's looks very suspect as others have reported. The one i just had from September 2023 has now got has a string of advisiory's with worn suspension components & with corrosion issues that wasnt highlighted on the last MOT. No doubt they will say it was an independent garage but its the one they use for their MOT's so ill let others draw their own conclusions with the agreement they have with that garage. The car has only done 3,764 miles with very minimal wear from the last MOT but another trusted garage highlighted a string of issues and faults. The garage I trust advised me the drop links were so badly worn they had to be replaced or it would fail, doesn't show on this years MOT cause I had I them replaced before it went through the test. Also has worn suspension componments, when I bought the car I did highlight the steering was making a slight noise at the time. But I was told this was nothing and they couldn't find any issues with the car. Makes sense now after this years MOT, it was obviously wear on the suspension parts. Remember the car has only done 3,764 miles since the last MOT they provided me with. If you have bought a car from this place then first thing you should do is get it up on a ramp and get it checked ASAP by a trustworthy garage. Don't believe a word they say and if in any doubt over faults get a mechanic to check
