Bought a 19 plate BMW X2 from this lot in Feb thro click and collect, picked it up in Carlisle on a bleak, rainy day. Took it to be valeted, the trustworthy valeter then phoned me and asked that I come and look at the state of the car. He couldn't believe that this car had been allowed to leave a garage in such a mess! I could list the faults but it would take too long but, briefly, a badly glued back seat with suspect staining, divots out of central pillar, atrocious respray on various parts of car, scratches, chips, money in door panel to name but a few. Flat battery within weeks, replaced..flat again because they'd put a substandard battery in. Greenock then emailed Carlisle too ask if they could source "new parts" for car on Ebay to keep costs down!! Can you believe it? It took almost 5 months to resolve issues and I'm not convinced I'm out of the woods yet. I was without a car for weeks but they dont care. All I got was a goodwill gesture of £200 which didnt even cover the valet. I lost count of emails they didnt answer and phone calls they didnt return. When you complain you cant get any higher than the manager of the branch so save your breath. Bought a car from AC 15yrs ago and vowed I'd never do it again but time moves on and the memory dims but, I will say this, they ARE consistent they're still absolutely awful! NEVER AGAIN! AVOID AT ALL COSTS.
