Sold me a car with £2500+ faults MM16WLH
Not a good experience buying a Citroen Cactus 1.6 BlueHDI from these characters in July 23. After 9 days, the engine and AdBlue system warning lights appeared, I took it to my local garage that diagnosed a non functioning Nox sensor, a completely blocked DPF filter and a no functioning AdBlue system., cost to repair estimated £2500+. I took and sent a picture of the fault codes to Bristol Auto Hub. I made the big mistake of not returning it within 30 days and receiving a full refund, I believed them when they said they would get it fully repaired. Unfortunately their repair consisted of, disconnecting the battery to clear the fault log so that when it went to a Citroen workshop only the non functioning AdBlue fault was readable they got that fixed, but refused to get the other 2 faults repaired, saying its an old car, its 7 years old(below the average age for cars in the UK which is 8.4 years) and that there were no other faults diagnosed. That happens when you disconnect the battery to clear the fault log, they would be back possibly the next time it was being driven and the DPF regenerated. That repair would be £1700. I rejected the car, but as I had owned it for more than 30 days, deducted £1 a mile for my use of the car. These guys have stumbled onto a pot of gold, selling faulty cars, not repairing them the customers ask for a refund and they deduct an unreasonable amount for the use of the car from the refund, they are selling the car again, its on their website Sept 23. I couldn’t recommend Bristol Auto Hub, I feel like I have been properly had.
