Lucky Escape! but still ripped off!

was interested in a skoda octavia. advertised as FULL history was partial and timing belt wasnt done as he well knew and admitted when questioned said he would do it as part of the deal. then i got spooked after reading peoples horrendus (experiences plus i made a few calls aswell) of dealing with this company DARREN TARRY numerous desolved companies (forged invoices when the belt clearly hasnt been done) which he claims is his mate round the corner! (this is where all warranty work is done? Left £100 deposit rang back 1hour later no reponse no text next day complete attitude change im right your wrong threats etc etc basically im keeping your £100 as its not much so what you moanng about!!!! (HIS WORDS!) shocking comapny to deal with and ive had a very very lucky escape. yes its just £100 in this case (process has started to recover this though) but the warning to others is his attiude once your hard earned money is handed over and if you encountered any issues YOU WILL have major problems dealing with this guy. do your research on darren tarry and maclan motors and see for yourself his address is also registered for court cases aswell in sandbach.
