Avoid them!

AVOID!! I won’t be completely biased in my review because, I purchased my first vehicle of these guys 4 years ago, A used 4 series which was dealt with professionally and I was look after with complete respect throughout. Fast forward 4 years later, this new team/manager are practically scamming and robbing people blindly with any care or lack of empathy in doing so, I was up for changing my car, seen one which I liked, went to see it firstly the car had what look a dead bird on the bonnet on first viewing, blood and feathers everywhere, which they said they would clean, they pushed me for the sale to close it before end of month to get it on there books and so that they could claim there commissions, once I got the car I drove it out and about 2 days later the ad-blue was low and about 4 days later the car went into limp mode, having to chase this up constantly to get this sorted after about 6 weeks of me chasing and chasing, surprise surprise this was after the cooling of period, which they think I didn’t realise, they booked my car in 6 weeks after first promised they did some cosmetic work to the paint work, slapped some shiny tires on , finally actually cleaned and serviced the car after 8 weeks of purchase, they had the car in for about 6-7 weeks, they gave the car back I drove it for about 5 days before the car went into limp mode again, since the car has gone into limp mode 6 times in the past month, 1 of the occasions which pushed me to write this review was the fact I almost lost my life when the car went into limp mode while I drove on the m25 driving at 70mph the car started losing speed and automatically reduced down to 40mph no matter how much I would put my foot the accelerator the car kept losing speed, to the point I had to try manoeuvring across a 3 lane Motorway narrowly missing getting hit by a large lorry by about a few second, furious at this I called Harold wood Sytner and no actually care was given that my life was put in danger by a vehicle they sold me, I went in to also directly speak to them, A car which was valued at 21k in April when I purchased it, is now valued at 14k after 16 weeks of ownership and in those 16 weeks the car was with sytner Harold wood for about 7, so in essence a car Iv had for in total for about 9-10 weeks now has lost 7k off its value somehow and was sold to me with faults on top of that initially. Their response to help solve this are the following two options. 1) they pay 14k for the car leaving me to pay the difference of the finance so losing out anywhere between 5-6k in lump sum for a faulty car they provided me. 2) they pay the 14k and I choose another car, and add on an extra money left over to other car Iv selected. In both scenarios I financially lose out 5k+ for a faulty vehicle which they provided to me and they financial gain again, this company used to look after people and treat them with respect which is why I chose them 4 years ago and never had any issues in those 4 years with anything but today the standards have dropped and they are just focused on fleecing people for as much as they can and the moment they have your money and the cooling off period is done. You can pretty much be sure you’ll get a “F*** you, we got your money now we don’t care” which is what I have been getting constantly for months on end trying to sort this out. Just avoid them and save yourself the stress and headache and financial fleecing.
