Bad Post Sales Customer Care
I recently brought a used Iveco Daily Van from this company. They promised me a 3 month warranty. After a week I travelled to Europe, reached Germany when the Van acquired a leaking diff. I was charged approx. £450 to get an emergency repair. Pitter Commercials refused to reimburse me any of the cost. I was clearly told that the company warranty says that it must be returned to them at Southampton. They wouldn't even consider 50% of my costs. There was no way I could have got the leaking van back to them with no oil in the differential unit. I hasten to add, that after a few email ping pongs, the Sales Director flatly refused to help - thanks for nothing, Pitter Commercials! Don't expect an descent customer care and the 3 month warranty isn't worth the paper it's written on if your vehicle happens to be disabled.
