Got taken to the cleaners

Gave assurance that car would not be returned until pre-existing very serious engine fault has been fixed. An independent specialist diagnosed that fault had not been properly rectified and recommended car should not be driven! Unfortunately none of the local specialists were interested in carrying out this warranty work. Dealer washed their hands.
