Kept my deposit after Mot fail

Requested to view when mot was completed but was eagerly persuaded (after I refused twice) to leave a deposit. Car failed initial mot. Raised red flags for me. But they still kept my deposit...... This company takes deposits on pre mot vehicles, then when issues arise over Mot. They fix them up by doing mot before service so they then know the minimum work required to pass the mot, then pass the liability on to the customer who are now committed to buy or lose £500, as I did. Later found out the car was also overpriced by 3000, which is an instant concumer loss as soon as you dive off the forecourt.... Beware of this company, and the "We're a family run company" narrative that is obviously read from a script. Bullshitters and below standard vehicles
