BE CAREFUL LEAVING DEPOSITS

We agreed a price on a vehicle with this company and deposited to secure the car. What followed was an absolute disaster, upon arrival we were informed that the car in question had finance on it and that we "WOULD' have to pay the car finance off and give them the difference. Horrified, we informed the owner Chris that we had received an email from them asking us to pay them full (In the form of a pro forma invoice), and that we shouldn't be required to pay off "THEIR' customers finance. Alarm bells rang and we decided this wasn't right and didn't take the car. After a few emails it was obvious that Automotion Vehicle Sales weren't going to give us our deposit back. Fortunately for us the great British Justice System helped us retrieve our deposit, but not before we had to take court action, needless to say "Automotion Vehicle Sales" didn't attend the trial.
