My son bought a bmw 130i m sport from MMC but from their Mansfield branch, the car was advertised by Dan motor group, which is a MOT centre and told me that MMC often advertise using their name without their knowledge on Auto trader. My son paid £5995 for the car and ask all the relevant questions before the purchase. When he took me for a drive I noticed a lot of shaking on the steering wheel, not happy so I booked the car in for a retest, it failed, classed as dangerous on two aspects, I did a bit more digging and found out it's a cat d write off, not advertised as a cat d through auto trader, my son then exercised his rights to reject under the consumer rights act, it's been 6 days,2 visits , numerous phone calls to MMC nothing back .
