DO NOT TRUST THIS COMPNAY – STAY WELL AW

Hippo has completely ripped me off since day one. Delivered a shoddy car with an immediate engine light, telling me straight away that they haven’t checked over the car properly, which as they love to point out IS IN THE TERMS OF THE CONTRACT. So when I query this they book it in to a garage taking me out of my 2 week free-return policy, as a young person this seems to me that they are taking complete advantage of a young persons lack of experience with big companies like this and that my trust in them is worth nothing. This car has been in and out of 4 different garages over 10 times in the last 12 months with no support or understanding from Hippo, and when MOT time came and I explained I would need a courtesy car due to the engine light being on, they had the gall to say that without a diagnostic, they cannot approve a courtesy car, EVEN THOUGH THEY KNEW ABOUT THIS ISSUE SINCE JULY 2022! This forced me to deal with the issue all alone and out of my own pocket, this company promised me a working car with full warranty and no stress, and instead delivered me with a clearly faulty car, and a massive load of financial burden and causing me serious distress these past 12 months. Stay as far away from them as possible and do not trust a word they say, they have conned myself and many other people, all you need to do it look at the negative reviews other people have posted, practically identical to my story, which are amazingly tucked away other lovely reviews. Hippo is a complete money grabbing scheme, do not give them a penny!
