AVOID AT ALL COSTS. The service department at this dealership has made our first experience with an Audi car a complete and utter nightmare. My husbands car was recovered for repairs and taken in by this shoddy dealership. He was told to expect the repair to take a week and when he called after a week to find out if it was ready, they hadn’t even started. They didn’t even bother to tell him so if he hadn’t called, who knows how long they would’ve left the repair for. More importantly, my husband had to pay for a seperate hire car while the repair took place. He followed the initial timeline given by the advisor, only to be told they needed another 5 days because the part had not even arrived. This meant my husband had to pay even more for another car whilst he waited. He reached out to Audi Head Office after having no indication of when the car was going to be ready and no offer of a courtesy/hire car. When the Head Office contacted the dealership, Harold Wood bare face lied and said that ‘he was offered a hire car option but he refused’. This is not the worst of it… After thinking the nightmare was over, my husband collected his car yesterday and upon returning, he realised that the tow hook had been left on the front of the vehicle and the tow hook cover is missing! Naturally he rang the dealership who told him the ‘AA took it so it’s not our problem’. You couldn’t make it up. Rest assured this will be our first and last time getting an Audi vehicle so save yourselves the trouble and go elsewhere.
