Dealing with J&J Cars Sales and Caravans has been one of the worst experiences of my life. Disgusting, Disgraceful, Outrageous, Awful customer care. Bought Motorhome for £12300 and after one week the ceiling was full of water. Formally rejected the vehicle under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 but was flatly refused any refund. All emails ignored until threatened with court action as vehicle was sold not fit for purpose. Court procedure started. Still no refund. Manager eventually contacted me offering £11000 to settle. I refused and he became angry and hostile. Motorhome resold by J&J without my knowledge or consent despite still having the V5 in my name. Still no refund. Court starts CCJ process against J&J unless full refund plus costs settled within a 28 days. Still no refund. Documents sent via DCBL for high court writ to be served against J&J for full refund or cost of goods to cover value. Full refund plus costs finally received but too late to stop the CCJ’s against both companies being awarded. Eight long months of unnecessary and ridiculous behaviour costing J&J £1500 more than a refund, and CCJ’s affecting their credit for 5 years. Their arrogance really outweighs their intelligence. Please, please stay away from these dodgy, disrespectful, unhelpful, bullying, ignorant, arrogant people. They don’t care at all once they have your hard earned money.
