Has the days of actually going down to a car dealership and viewing vehicles on site started to come to an end ? Just called in at Mike Brewer motors in Sheffield, hoping to view some cars. When my wife and i arrived, we were told that if we wanted to view anything we had to request which a particular car, and while we wait in the car park , someone would eventually bring it out. I explained that we did not have a particular car in mind, we wanted to have a look round at the stock, and then if we were interested we would then take it further,(maybe a test drive). Oh no we do not do that we were told, you have to come with a particular car already in mind, then make an appointment to test drive it. What a wasted trip. Went to the car shop instead. Do not get taken in by the videos Mr Brewer makes, when he says " come down to Mike Brewer motors for a relaxing car buying experience, look round the stock, get yourself a cup of tea". We could not get through the front door.
