Purchased a van recently all seemed well to start with after purchase until noises and knocking sounds came to surface wks later . Had to replace bearing by my mechanic but still had other issues so contacted garage to raise the issue which was thrown back at me saying my mecanic has damaged it so he must repair it so didnt want anthing to do with the van. I then had my mechanic looked over thoroughly and found had been in small accident and parts hadn't been put back properly I.e engine mount lose a fuel injector pipe was resting over exhaust manifold due to not being put back into holding points as well as a couple other parts.
