Poor customer care
Over the past several years I've found myself avoiding mercedes of derby and finding more customer centred service centres. I've never found them all that helpful, after my second service there I noticed the car become sluggish, when I questioned this the lady I spoke to asked if I drove the car in sports mode 'too often'...? And every discussion after that was her attempt to tell me it was how I drove the car... Recently the adblue system has failed in my car (under 30k miles on the clock but over 4 years old) so this is more of a niggle on my part.. but they want to charge me a hefty sum to diagnose the issue twice that of very reputable competitors, I feel they missed a beat hear and had the opportunity to diagnose for a more reasonable price and then charge me for the repair.... But being that the car is well under the warranty milage (4 years or 50k) I'm sure they could have been more agreeable about the whole thing. Then in general there is just after care... Trying to contact them via their online system... You have little chance of getting a response, I even drove there once and was told to book the service on the app.. rather than speaking to the lady on the reception desk.. Just not worth putting money in their pocket.
