Update 31 May 2023 —-I DO NOT ADVISE ANYONE TO BUY FROM THIS DEALER !!!!!! — The dealer refuses to repair or take the car back, I am waiting for a quote to fix my turbo and clutch, (dealer says that this were issues that appeared after the sale - 25 days after to pre precise, and that why they say they won’t refund me ) The warranty they gave asks for so much paperwork and emails/calls that it’s impossible to activate. So I will have to pay all of this from my pocket. And I can’t stress enough that I bough this far from this dealer 26 DAYS ago. The car cost £4850 and I will have to pay almost half of that in repairs. I was already accused of slander but so have many others as you can see on the reviews section, and in that same section you can see that I am not the first . The only thing I can do is share my experience . Update- tried to get a full refund as this was the 26th after the purchase as it’s my right according to the Consumer Rights Act 2015 and that request was denied by the dealer, asked the dealer to fix the issues and was refused as well. The only thing they say is to use the extra warranty I paid for . The problem is that if the smoke + clutch are what I think, the repairs will be way over the warranty limit. So I will have to pay a big bill over a car I bought less than a month ago. I proposed 2 option - full refund as I am on my 30 day window or the car going to the dealers mechanic to be fixed. Both rejected by the dealer. —————————————————————- Found this car online and looked amazing on the photos. The service at the time of the sale was friendly and amazing and the car was delivered in time. At the delivery moment I realised that the “superb example” of my car was as you can see on the photos (I know, my fault, never will buy a car again trusting the advertisement, lessons learned ) After 1 week I had to spend £165 on a new battery (not covered on the warranty) 2 weeks after the service light went on (was serviced at sale) and one of the fog lights (the ones on the photo) went bust, 3 weeks after the purchase, the clutch became very hard, the car made a cloud of smoke coming from the engine so I decided to call the dealer. The friendliness that made me trust and buy the car was not there anymore, I even said that the car was supposed to be valeted and there was dirt on the fog lights , even found a child’s pacifier and crisps etc on the car. Not helpful at all and it was even said that I live miles away from the dealer so there’s nothing that can be done . Will now try to sort at least the engine and clutch problem with the warranty I had paid extra to have and all the other things from my pocket. I was told on the after sale support “it’s a 11 years old car, what to expect?” (same sale support advertised this car as a “superb example” when it was for sale) Spent £4850 (car) + £240(delivery) + £80 (for a proper valet) + £165(battery) + fixing fog lights ( the photos that look like an ant farm ) + engine or turbo issue + clutch issue (still hoping that the warranty will cover this last 2 but don’t believe so ) After all of this I was only told “I don’t know what to tell you” “I don’t know what you want me to do” And “apart from the clutch and smoke those are all minor things “ All the body issues I blame myself for choosing online purchase BUT the car was quoted as a superb example and we were not made aware of any of these flaws. (Hundreds of body scratches , big bump on the bonnet, fog lights completely full of dirt, faulty battery, rust in various places around the car , alloys , engine etc are some of the examples of things that could have been mentioned ) Very disappointed
