Dangerous mini - had less than a month

Bought a mini in April and after less than a month it’s in the garage after breaking down in a dangerous situation whilst driving and is now in a local garage with a list of diagnostic problems including a fuel filter problem that Nene Valley says is a £10 fix but my garage says is £150 part that they are getting from BMW ( I have no idea what Nene Valley we’re going to do) plus labour. Of course the extended warranty doesn’t cover this - how silly we were to think it would. They say if I take it back they’ll look at it but I’m afraid all trust is gone. It would involve a 50 mile drive in a death trap. Leaking oil, silicone around the engine showing clear signs of previous botch jobs and a broken fuel filter means I’m too scared to drive it. He did give a good mansplane on what to do in an emergency which was nice. We will bear the expense of fixing the fuel system and sell it on and never buy from this dealer again and suggest you avoid at all costs.
