Old School Car Sales

Unpleasant experience with these guys, on the plus side responsive. That’s where it ends. Found a car to match and as an easy customer (no test drive just buy) I asked a few questions for clarity. Those were answered largely. On the negatives 1I was 250 miles from the dealer and I could not offer any solution to buy the car and ship to me (paying for or not). Answer - we won’t do that even though a 10 hour round trip to say hi. A zoom call? A phone call? Dark ages. 2 let me ask my manager technique. Always using the buffer of the supposed manager who says no.but no logic or reasons provided. Asking t speak with them denied. It’s like a 1980’s car lot play. 3. Once ready to buy and deal agreed. Finance approved etc. oh there are £2000 of extras I forgot to mention. Some not optional like an admin fee or fuel or tax. If they are not optional put them in the price. Like a timeshare sales situation. 4. Having navigated those asked for a deal, on a coupe Of the “extras’ and agreed , finance, off overnight to ask my manager technique again? Be back to you in the morning. 5 message in the morning. We sold the car. Would you like an alternative. At this point had rearranged my diary to make a 10 hour trip for a 10 minute handshake and coffee and nice to meet you. A pointless trip. Felt unclean at the end of it. Telling everyone you have great service and leaving them feeling dirty and disposed. Horrible experience.
