Lack of integrity
Buyer beware! I had a positive sales experience, dealing exclusively with Adam. Upon collection of the car however I discovered a litany of issues which culminated in the car being unroadworthy. I chronicled these issues with J13, was advised that Adam now worked part-time now and managed to speak to the boss once. Despite promises of a follow up call, and numerous messages to J13, the follow-up call was not forthcoming and messages were ignored. The attention to after-sales service was nothing short of dismissive. J13’s claims of its comprehensive pre-sales vehicle inspections are clearly exaggerated. I would suggest that it deliberately masked issues I had from the start with a radiator leak. All in all, J13 have reinforced my concerns of dealing with a ‘cowboy’ trader. If the J13 boss had acknowledged they had ‘missed’ some clear signs of electrical and mechanical issues and taken care to resolve those that would have demonstrated a dealership that trades with integrity. J13 however does not
