Failed to do MOT

Ever since we brought our 63 plate Cascada new from J Davy we have had a service plan for service and MOT. It has always gone to J Davy for the service and MOT . On September 20th 2022 it was booked in for a service and MOT as we have always done. Our car went back in for glow plugs in November 2022. My wife was pulled over by the police on the April 18th 2023 because the car had no MOT she was cautioned and find £100 . Which was a big shock to us because as far as we were aware the MOT was done. J Davy had failed to do the MOT . J Davy have said they can see it had not been MOT they don't know why and it was not flaged up to us when it has been in for the glow plugs needed. The garage is a shambles and has never failed to disappoint.
